Ahmed Zhani Dridi
I work as an architect at Moke and am responsible for international projects, from contract negotiation through to final delivery. As a project manager, I serve as the central point of contact between the Moke team, the client, and all involved parties. I coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure that project objectives are met through a process developed in close collaboration with the client. One standout project for me is a large-scale turnkey development in Cotonou, Benin: a luxury hotel and an international conference centre spanning 35,000 m², featuring two hundred rooms, multiple restaurants, meeting rooms, and a spa. Moke’s design introduces a fresh approach to the local architectural style, striking a balance between Dutch restraint and rich elegance. The true complexity of the project lies in the international collaboration — involving interior designers from Moscow, a contractor from Istanbul, and stakeholders from across the globe — all connected through clear communication and shared standards. What inspires me most in my profession is the magical journey from the initial idea, often captured in a sketch, to the final built result.
Ahmed obtained his Master’s degree in Architecture and has fifteen years of experience in project management and design in both Switzerland and North America. Since 2020, he has been affiliated with Moke Architecten, where he is responsible for high-end hotel and mixed-use developments outside the Netherlands.
