Jelle de Haan

Jelle de Haan
I am an architectural technician and BIM modeller at Moke. My primary focus is on producing detailed 3D models and construction drawings, spanning the phases from Design Development to Construction Documentation. To carry out my work with precision, I am in close contact with structural engineers, installers, contractors, and suppliers. My greatest challenge is to realise a building exactly as the architect intended, while keeping it affordable for the client and feasible for the contractor.

One project that is truly special to me is Port de Pêche, a fishing harbour in Benin. This development brings together a wide range of functions, including a fish market, an auction house, residential accommodation, hospitality facilities, a police station, boat repair services, and fish processing. It is a truly unique project to which I dedicated an incredible amount of effort – the kind of project I can only hope to be part of again during my career.

What I value most about my work is the tangible end result: a well-executed building that many generations can enjoy and that I can be proud of.

Jelle studied Architectural Engineering at Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Alkmaar and graduated in 2021. He subsequently worked as an architectural technician and BIM modeller at an architectural drafting firm. For the past two years, he has worked at Moke Architecten.
