At Moke, I work on all aspects of a project, from feasibility studies for small-scale senior housing to the execution phase of urban residential developments. Feasibility studies involve a broad perspective, such as assessing the placement of a building within its surroundings. In the execution phase, the focus shifts to refining every detail to truly bring the design to life.
Additionally, I am part of Moke’s communications team, where we organise excursions to inspiring projects and prepare presentations when designs are nominated for architecture awards. One of the projects I am most proud of is the Keverdijk residential development in Naarden. I joined during the technical development phase to bring the design from the drawing board to reality. Together with Heijmans, we have created a remarkable building. The municipality even honoured the project with the Bazel Prize 2024.
Feeling the appreciation and love from the community—that is ultimately what drives an architect. More than anything, I want to create pleasant living environments for people. When I walk through a completed project and can see myself living there, I know it has been a success.
