I am an architect at Moke. My role is diverse and I bring a broad skillset that spans all phases of the design process. I work on façade designs in Rhino, contribute detailed input on technical solutions, and help create and compile architectural booklets. I greatly value the variety in my work. In addition to the initial design phase, I enjoy contributing to the phases in which the Design Development, Technical Design, and Construction Documentation are realised.
A project I admire, even though I wasn’t involved in it, is Oudshoornlaan in Muiden. It’s a small-scale social housing development with a façade made entirely of bamboo and crisp detailing, which gives the project a refined and high-quality appearance.
The moments when architecture and new technology come together are especially inspiring. Techniques such as AI and parametric design open up new opportunities and unexpected possibilities for the future of architecture.
Lars obtained his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Delft University of Technology, followed by a Master's in Building Technology and subsequently a Master's in Architecture (Hyperbody studio), both at Delft University of Technology. He graduated in 2017. He then spent several years at MVSA Architects, where he earned his professional qualification as an architect. Since early 2025, Lars has been working at Moke Architecten.
