Lennart Aben-Leufkens
I am a project architect at Moke and, since early 2025, I have been the branch manager of our new office in Wageningen. With our physical presence there, we aim to expand our working area and realise even more inspiring projects. My work is incredibly varied - even from day to day - which is exactly why I enjoy it so much. It involves designing, leading and overseeing developments, and consulting with clients and advisors.
One project that stands out for me is the extension of the Westerkerk and the adjacent Oldenije primary school in Leeuwarden. Within this development we managed to combine sharp, sculptural design with inspiring solutions for the young children attending the school.
My love for architecture lies in the details of brickwork. Creative bonds and distinctive reliefs give a façade its character and ensure that a building is more than just functional.
Lennart studied at Delft University of Technology, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree with Honours and graduated Cum Laude. After a six-month internship, he continued his studies with a Master’s in Architecture. After obtaining his Master’s degree, Lennart started working at Moke Architecten.
