Noemi Alippi
I'm an intern at Moke. This internship is my first experience in the field and gives me the opportunity to connect my academic background with practice. At Moke, I build models at different scales: urban models that illustrate the project within its context, for example during neighborhood meetings, and more building-focused models for later design phases. I also produce drawings for presentations and occasionally work on 3D models to better understand the building and create renders.

One project that stands out for me is De Bongerd. I spent quite some time working on a 1:150 model. The process was both challenging and rewarding: it required finding creative ways to represent details using a mix of techniques and tools. It became not just a task, but a true learning experience.

I am fascinated by how architecture can reinterpret traditional knowledge to meet today’s needs and by the logic behind construction and spatial functionality.

Noemi is studying Architecture at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, Switzerland. Her internship at Moke Architecten is her first experience in the professional field.
