Hogekwartier Field 6
Four light and slender towers mark the eastern city entrance of Amersfoort. At the intersection of Hogeweg and Valleikanaal, each tower has its own height, ranging from 30 meters to more than 60 meters. Moke Architecten is responsible for the southern pair, a tall tower with rental and owner-occupied apartments and a shorter tower with social housing units.

Ecological shore
The shore of the Valleikanaal is being developed into an ecological zone. It is being transformed into an elongated green connection with wadis, plantings, and an idyllic pedestrian pathway. The ground level of the design area continues this zone. The towers are built on a shared parking structure, accommodating approximately 160 cars. The parking level is partially sunk into the ground.
Grounded
The buildings have a distinct structure: plinth, body, and top. The four-story plinth has a strong rhythm and matches the scale of the adjacent buildings. The plinth has extensions in the direction of the Arabellapad. Balconies give it a pleasant tactility. The towers above are slender and modern. The top floors have loggias as outdoor spaces to maintain their slenderness. Depending on the building and floor, each level has 2 to 9 apartments. The apartment types range from two-room apartments to units with 5 rooms.
Light appearance
The light-coloured brick and large windows in the tall tower give the ensemble a contemporary appearance. The frames and positioning of the balconies are a nod to the towers on the other side of the Hogeweg. The landscape design was created by MTD. The urban development plan is the work of KCAP.
